Service Keepers Maintenance, Inc.

Service Keepers is committed to using cutting-edge cleaning equipment and technology for its cleaning services, including the use of a hydrogen peroxide-based cleaning system, providing a practical, non-toxic alternative to conventional cleaning systems.

The methods and systems we use account for only part of our success. The other part is our investment in the people who make it all happen; our janitors, site managers, salespeople and management. We offer competitive wages which helps limit turnover and in turn leads to a more experienced staff. We also provide continual employee training.

Our quality-control supervisors make constant visits to our buildings and interact with clients and staff to ensure all standards are not only met, but exceeded.

neal bermanNEAL BERMAN

President and Board of Director

Neal Berman is the son of founder Jocelyn Berman and has worked for the family business since 1998. Graduated from University of Florida, Neal handles the majority of the business in Dade County and has been overseeing Operations of minor and major transactions, heading the future path of our group and managing our steady growth. His vision and experience fulfills our requirement to stay competitive and innovative. His goal has always been to bring quality service and budget reducing contracts to South Florida businesses by investing in technology for efficiency while facilitating systematic approaches. Neal’s ambition to remain ahead of our competitors plays a huge role in our success. Fluent in English and Spanish, Neal lived in Guatemala for four months to learn the Spanish Language and to donate his time towards helping the less fortunate families, children, and abused women.  He also lived in Korea for eight months to teach English and study Tae Kwon Do and Kum Do. He brings a great wealth of expertise due to his constant training and involvement with educational organizations contributing to the janitorial industry such as; BSCAI–Building Service Contractor’s Association International, IICRC – Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (Stone and Hard Floor Technician) Certified. ISSA CIMS Expert -Born and raised in Miami Beach, Neal understand the diversity in South Florida and enjoys giving back to the community by always contributing to charity events and helping support our local community by creating jobs, mentoring and training people into the work force. Neal serves on the board of the Miami Beach JCC and is involved with the daily operations to build a brand new community complex. His leadership, vision and style provides guidance for the continued growth of Service Keepers Maintenance, Inc.   


ollie vavalOLLIE VAVAL

Human Resource Generalist                                                                                                                                     

Ollie Vaval has been with Service Keepers Maintenance, Inc. for 15 years, since 1995 and began her career with Service Keepers as a part-time receptionist. Ollie has been supportive and influential for our companies growth, her worth is invaluable; she has worked her way up to the Management tier through dedication, tenaciousness and commitment. Within two years of working with Service Keepers she was promoted to became the companies Office Clerk, a year later she incorporated Payroll into her work description always receiving recognition by promotions and financial rewards for her willingness to learn. Presently, she works to oversee Human Resources as a Generalist, oversees the company’s Bookkeeping Department. Ollie is a graduate of Barry University and obtained a B.A. in Health Administration with Minor in Social Welfare 2005, Born in Haiti, moved to the United States at age 4 and was raised in Miami, Florida. Ollie speaks four languages: English, Creole, French, Spanish and has achieved accreditations from ADP as a Payroll Certified Specialist, Professional Payroll Certified. Ollie’s excellent customer service skills, impressive track record and willingness to learn and teach others to succeed has influence the Service Keepers culture to be the best place to work in South Florida.

Director of Operations

Henry Barreto joined Service Keepers Maintenance, Inc. in November of 2006 and is an asset to our team. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Henry possesses exceptional customer service skills, strong sales techniques and superb leadership qualities. Henry also likes to be involved in business expansion projects that involve creating opportunities for people to work and growing the company’s product line. As our purchasing agent, he orders all supplies including but not limited to: chemicals, machinery, paper goods and all parts for machinery. He is also very involved with continuing education, keeping up with new technologies and product improvements to help reduce material cost, labor cost and to help improve employee safety. As the head of our “back to work” program and spends a lot of time supporting those in need. He handles  recruiting through job fairs, hiring, interviewing and coaching all new employees to learn the SKM culture by providing support for a staff of nearly 250 employees, Henry is well liked and respected in our industry. He also lends a hand to provide proper training of employees for both the company’s rules and OSHA regulations. Graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Management Information Systems and a minor in Computer Science, his commitment to Service Keepers makes him a valuable representative always contributing to the success of our company.


Operations Manager

Marcos Diaz joined Service Keepers Maintenance, Inc. on September of 2009 and overseas our Dade County properties. Born, raised and educated in Lima, Peru, Marco’s is bilingual, very diversified and works well with his staff. His role as an Area Manager is critical to our success as he maintains and manages site supervisors responsible for buildings we service. He is responsible for providing leadership and management support he oversees all standard operating procedures and functions are adhered. Training and implementation of our systems and equipment have become Marco’s specialty. His experience began as a site manager over 7 years ago and he quickly moved into a higher management position because of his tenacious nature to assume responsibility, accept assignments and execute them, not to mention he enjoys working through problems with our customers & staff until a positive outcome is achieved. Marco’s takes pride in his work and we are very fortunate to have someone of his worth and dedication as part of our team.
