New Year, New Variants – How to Integrate Healthy Sanitation Practices in the Age of Omicron

It’s 2022 and COVID has been a part of our every day lives for almost two years now. With students back in school and employees back to work, it’s important to recognize how important proper sanitation in both schools and office buildings are. This includes implementing healthy cleaning habits to your cleaning routines.

Being able to integrate healthy sanitation practices into our daily lives is crucial to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the omicron variant.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

Here are some key steps to focus on when cleaning in order to slow down the spread:

  • Clean high-touch surfaces regularly or as needed and after you have visitors in your home or business.
  • Focus on high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, tables, handles, light switches, and countertops.
  • Clean other surfaces in your home when they are visibly dirty or as needed. Clean them more frequently if people in your household are more likely to get very sick from COVID-19. You might also choose to disinfect.
  • Clean surfaces using a product suitable for each surface, following instructions on the product label.

Here at Service Keepers we focus on using cleaning techniques like the ones listed above to provide you and your buildings with the utmost quality.
